  1. I have been having tingling fingers, somewhat numb tongue, vertigo feeling and I am concerned that it may be high cholesterol . I have been tested in the past and my numbers have been right at border line. My blood sugars are fine and my blood pressure was fine this morning.     I am 25.. I feel that i have had a hormonal imbalance since i started puberty.. It got mistaken for years as a chemical imbalance and i was prescribed to horrible horrible medication from anti depressants to anti psychotics that did nothing but make things much much worse. I recently had my hormones tested and 3 major ones were off balance. I had high testosterone (which explains my moodiness and unwanted hair) and low thyroid function.. I forgot the other.. I am scared and extremely unhappy. Right now I am getting acupuncture but of course it hasn’t worked quite yet.. I feel a little bit better but i’m hoping that someone with knowledge of this can help point me in the right direction.. One thing did help for me for a short time but it is no longer working 🙁 When I first started the nuva ring i felt AMAZING!!! It worked for months, and i can’t tell you how great it was.. I am still on it, but for some reason it is no longer working for me.. I just want to feel good again.. My hormone imbalance has effected every aspect of my life.. It is hard to lose weight, I have no energy, I have extreme unpleasant moodiness and thoughts.. I have unwanted hair everywhere.. It’s even hard to get out of bed in the morning.. I feel horrible about myself.. All I want is to feel good. I’m continuing acupuncture, and taking a chinese herb vitamin called gentiana complex, and it has started helping in some ways..
