  1. For example, if I cook rice like pasta, i.e. in excess water and drain the excess water, will the amount of carbohydrate be reduced from the cooked rice. If so, by how much. Thanks.

I bought the “Carbohydrate Addict’s Carbohydrate Counter” book and I am trying to make a grocery list with emphasis on the Complementary Meals (low in carbs) but I don’t remember what the threshold, top count of calories is, is it 0 to 6?
