They are the perfect host always willing to help. One can feel and understand real impact of terorism by visiting Kashmir only. I had heard of “Lal Chowk” several times in news channels. As we passed lal Chowk our guide said “this is lal chowk, day before yesterday bom blasted here”. I could visualize how bom would have blasted and people running for their lifes. Kashmiri’s have learnt how to live with terorism.

If you ever plan to visit Kashmir stay in a houseboat. Dal lake is 24 kms in diameter, there are houseboats near roads and in the middle of the lake also. Staying in the middle of Dal lake away from hustle bustle of city roads would be a good idea.
