If you could embody the ideal of confidence, what – for you – would this entail? Really think about it for a moment – solid, invincible confidence — the kind that senses, believes, and knows it can only succeed.

Would you experience, for example, full, unabashed communication expression? Taking bold, forthright action with triumph being the only possibility you’d consider (and demonstrate)? Would you experience a feeling of absolute competence regarding your ability and capacity to produce future results? A natural affinity to determine an outcome, and then masterfully drive yourself – through total certainty and conviction – toward its decisive completion?

“Uh, gee Pete; you’re sort of presenting a super high-end concept of confidence here — something that’s beyond what I can ‘see’ as possible for me” you might say. But am I? Or, am I detailing a possibility framework which is something you would really love to sink your teeth into, and one you know you naturally would strive to produce if you had a specific strategy?

“Hmm-can I get there; I mean, how do I get there?” is likely your thinking now. And through 23 years as a self motivational speaker, I can tell you that this type (and parameter) of confidence can be developed. Its tendencies can be cultivated and rooted within you so it becomes a dynamic life force – a force that moves you from ordinary to extraordinary. Yes — a force that becomes you, and helps you begin making life say yes…to you!

Model of Confidence

If you believe life is against you, it will be. If you believe life is for you, it can be, but my experience is you must become the force which converts life’s willingness into personally enriching fact.

This force can be looked at as the masterful confidence of which I speak.

Factors of confidence

And its core factors can effectively be thought of as the following:

  • An instinctive sense of power (in response to considering current or future situations).
  • The natural projection of striking positive thoughts and assumptions (in response to considering current or future situations).
  • The natural projection of images depicting decisive competence, efficiency and mastery; an overriding perception of being able to do what you need to — and really want to (in response to considering current or future situations).
  • Embracing a solid, unswerving belief in self, and in a capability to act boldly…and Prevail (in response to considering current or future situations).

This force of confidence then results from the collective “blending” of these factors — to a degree where all of your mind, emotions and spirit is fueled by this “blend”.

Experiences of self-confidence in daily life

The fact is that you’ve experienced and/or reflected this “blended” inner state many times in your life. For example, that time when:

  • You saw what no one else did, and went ahead with your decision and faith to produce extraordinary results.
  • Because of an intense demand, without thinking, against the “odds”, you stood up to a situation, holding your ground, and continued to purposefully, passionately act until your point was made, or objective was fully accomplished.
  • Instead of looking around you, you looked within you, and spontaneously went ahead
    and said or did something, or performed in a masterful way that surprised even yourself
    because of the commanding impact your expression produced.

As you search your memory, you will find these types of experiences along your life timeline. And the key to cultivating – and exploiting – that force of confidence is right within these memories; the sensory structure of these memories produces the “blended” inner confidence state!

So as an aid to developing Sky High Confidence, you’ll be using the power of your mega-confidence memories, and will extract this power for use in your current life.

Can you do this? Yes. And as you engage the following process, you will find levels of ability and achievement capacity you may not have ever known you possessed.

The process of confidence building

Following is a mega-confidence building process I’ve taught to hundreds of clients over the years with spectacular results. I continued to refine this process to the presentation format I’ll now present. I encourage you to apply it regularly, until you’ve mastered it. Then, use it in every area of your life where you know you need to come on strong, make something happen, or get a job done.

So here’s the process to help you first anchor the confidence “blended” state. Then, I’ll give you specific life applications to help you use your confidence force to produce profound performance and results upgrades in your life.

Read through the entire process in its entirety. Then apply, and sustain it, exactly as outlined.

Aspect A: Gaining Subconscious Access

(Connecting With The Sensory Force Of Your Personal Power)

  • First, seclude yourself in a quiet environment, one where you’re sure you will not be disturbed. Take your phone off the hook, loosen any tight or binding clothing you may be
    wearing, and then position yourself on your back, lying either upon your bed, the couch, or
    comfortably stretched out in a reclining chair.
  • Next, let your eyelids gently close down, and take 3 l-o-n-g, d-e-e-p breaths, inhaling
    easily through your nostrils, and slowly exhaling through your mouth.
  • Next, envision yourself slowly descending a staircase of 7 total steps. And with each step, mentally/silently repeat the word “D-o-w-n” to yourself, allowing yourself to progressively
    let loose, and more completely relax with each step you descend.

When you’ve comfortably reached the bottom at Step #1, and are feeling the soothing comfort of inner calmness, then shift your awareness so you perform the scope of the following
Aspect B.

Aspect B: Accessing a Specific Confidence/Power Scenario From Your Memory

Next, lying comfortably with your eyelids closed, and feeling inwardly soothed, go ahead and recall a specific time in your personal life — a time when you reflected, and embodied dynamic, commanding confidence:

  • A time when despite any requirement, task or challenge, you felt a masterful sense of competence and ability which thoroughly inspired you to take action, and to continue acting until you registered a striking success result!
  • Or, a time when regardless of what was going on around you – regardless of anything
    anyone else was saying or doing – you absolutely knew you had what it took – everything
    it took – and you approached your every single endeavor completely filled with an
    invincible expectation to triumph!
  • A time when no matter what had to be done, or who might have been involved, or what the demands upon you were, you absolutely knew you could – and would – do exactly what you had to, exactly as you needed to – to a degree compelling you to accomplish your specific outcome, exactly as you wanted to — And You Did!

(You have had at least one, likely several times in your life such as these. Just relax, allow your awareness to search your memory, and you will come to identify a time such as this within your life. Just inwardly think about the idea of you experiencing or masterfully reflecting commanding confidence. You’ll then naturally find one or several experiences from your memory “pop-up” into your awareness. When they do, decide which scenario best exemplifies you as the embodiment of this dynamic confidence.)

Next step of aspect B in building self-confidence

Then:

  • Once you’ve mentally isolated this specific experience from your memory, make the picture of this scenario in your mind brighter and clearer, more vivid and more distinct…
  • Then, imaginatively bring it closer to you.
  • And then, make it even brighter, clearer, and even more distinct, detailed and vivid.
  • And then, imaginatively bring it even closer to you – so close, it’s as if it’s right in front
    of your face, so close it’s as if you can reach out and touch it; so real it’s as if this is your life, right
    then and there!

At this point you should see/hear/smell/feel, and totally inwardly experience all related sensory factors comprising this scenario, as if it were your very life, right in this current moment!)

Aspect C: Establishing Your Force Of Confidence Anchor

Now, instead of just “watching” this scenario, perceptually Step Into this picture, and into your body. And feeling the ground beneath your feet, and imaginatively looking through your eyes as this embodiment of thorough masterful confidence:

1.) See exactly what you see as this confidence — becoming aware of every specific factor that comprises your visual field…

2.) And then f-e-e-l exactly what you feel as this confidence surging masterfully throughout your entire body…

3.) Then, project the specific facial expression you project as this confidence — from the slant of your eyes, to the flare of your nostrils, to the curl and purse of your lips…

4.) Then, inwardly say to yourself, using the exact words and voice tonality you use, exactly what you say to yourself when you inwardly communicate to yourself as the embodiment of this confidence…

5.) And then, purposefully b-r-e-a-t-h-e exactly the way you breathe when you are the embodiment of this commanding confident power…

Next, as you’re inwardly reflecting all of #’s 1-5 above, and breathing purposefully as the embodiment of this confident power, clench your right fist hard. And, holding it clenched, mentally choose a word which to you singularly represents this inward state you’re experiencing.

For example, you might want to use a word such as “Force”, “Conquest”, “Success”, “Power”, “Zone”,

Whatever word you choose, holding your fist firmly clenched (and continuing to breathe as thoroughly confident power), mentally exclaim your chosen word 3 times consecutively, f-e-e-l-i-n-g its impact within you as you continue to inwardly reflect all the #1-5 sensory factors connected with your personal confidence scenario.

Hold this fist clench #1-5 sensory replication for 20 full seconds. Then, very s-l-o-w-l-y, release your clenched right fist, and just allow yourself to grow relaxed and at ease. You’ve now established a Force Of Confidence anchor, whereby the act of clenching your right fist, breathing as the embodiment of confident power, and mentally projecting your key word will spontaneously trigger the inner force which stimulates masterful confidence to be expressed within, and outward…from you!

Aspect D: Practicing A Post-Test Anchor Firing

Next, to become aware of just how powerful and deeply rooted within you is the capacity to incite the energy of thorough confident power:

  • Clench your right fist hard.
  • Breathe exactly as confident power breathes.
  • Mentally repeat your chosen key word 3 times consecutively.

You’ll instantly experience the very same state (and force) which stimulates driving confident power to unfold, and freely flow through you.

Hold this post-anchor test for 10 full seconds. Then, slowly release your fist clench, let your mind grow clear, and just allow yourself to grow relaxed and at ease.

Now you’ve established your Force Of Confidence anchor. The entire structuring process here should take 11-14 total minutes to perform. I suggest you perform this whole process once per day for 4-6 consecutive days. This will ensure you establish a connection between you clenching your right fist, breathing as confident power, and mentally repeating your key word activating the specific energy which fuels the dynamic expression of confidence.

And each time you perform this process, it will become easier to do, and more decisive in the results it will produce for you!

Anchoring the process notes

Once you’ve established the stimulus/response linkage between clenching your right fist, breathing as confident power, and repeating your key word to incite the Force Of Confidence, you do not have to go through this entire Aspect A – D process. Performing it as outlined 4-6 total times (on consecutive days) will ensure you develop the activation trigger mechanism required to produce maximum results. And once you’ve decidedly established this Force Of Confidence anchor, you can then just go right into the following TARGET LIFE APPLICATIONS section, and use it in conjunction with each aspect outlined.

Apply teachings of confidence in real life situations

Now I’ll give you strategies to use your Force Of Confidence anchor within 6 different life aspects. By following my simple directions, you’ll come to generate a profound feeling, and expression of confidence within each aspect. And you’ll be using your capacity to now activate your power to literally prime yourself for excellence, peak performance, and striking personal success.

PRE-PRESENTATIONS

First, establish an overall outcome for your desired performance – and the kind of impact you want to have upon your audience (i.e., idea/information imparting levels, understanding/integration levels, interest/involvement levels, etc.). Be very sure these outcomes are clearly defined in your mind.

Next, 15 minutes before your presentation, go to an area where you won’t be disturbed, and perform the following Pre-Confidence Priming routine:

  • Sit comfortably, let your eyelids close down, and inhale a long, deep breath…
  • Fire your Force Of Confidence anchor (clench your right fist hard, breathe as the embodiment of confident power, and mentally exclaim your key word)…
  • Then, holding your fist clenched, mentally project a detailed scenario of yourself
    performing in the manner which you know will naturally create, produce, and/or achieve
    your outcomes…
  • Say what you need to, in the way you need to; gesture in the way you need to; communicate and persuade in the way you need to…
  • Make this Force Of Confidence anchor held scenario as clear, realistic and sensory rich as
    you possibly can (i.e., hear, see, feel, sense and experience all of what is going on around
    you while you’re projecting your scenario)…
  • After you’ve played this inner drama through, then momentarily savor the impact and
    effect your dynamism registered…
  • Then, again repeat your key word. And next, s-l-o-w-l-y unclench your right fist, inhale deeply, let your eyelids open — and go for it!
  • You’ll then have structured a stimulus response conditioning between your presentation performance, and you naturally, continually acting out the context of your inner drama.

[Note: I encourage you to use this Force Of Confidence pre-priming process before every presentation you engage; don’t just hope for the best — take emotional and neurological action to help ensure it!]

JOB INTERVIEW

First, really remind yourself of every single trait, quality and characteristic that you know qualifies you for the job you’re seeking. Also, decide to be totally confident, bold, enthused, and eager to demonstrate you are the person for the position. (This is your outcome for this situation.)

Next, 15 minutes before your interview, go to an area where you won’t be disturbed, and go through the following Pre-Confidence Priming routine:

  • Sit comfortably, let your eyelids close down, and inhale a long, deep breath
  • Fire your Force Of Confidence anchor (clench your right fist hard, breathe as the embodiment of confident power, and mentally exclaim your key word)
  • Then, holding your fist clenched, mentally project a detailed scenario of yourself performing your interview in the manner which you know will naturally create, produce,
    and/or achieve your desired outcome. Experience a deep confidence radiating through
    you as you shake the interviewer’s hand, and begin the process. Experience yourself
    enthusiastically, persuasively answering each question you sense will be asked, and adding support/reinforcement inclusions you feel will even bolster how the interviewer
    perceives your preparedness, intelligence, eagerness, and their sense of your possible
    performance capacity.
  • Say what you need to, in the way you need to; gesture in the way you need to;
    communicate and persuade in the way you need to
  • Make this Force Of Confidence anchor held scenario as clear, realistic and sensory rich as
    you possibly can (i.e., hear, see, feel, sense and experience all of what is going on around
    you while you’re projecting your scenario)
  • After you’ve played this inner drama through, then momentarily savor the impact and
    effect your confidence and decisiveness registered
  • Then, again repeat your key word. And next, s-l-o-w-l-y unclench your right fist, inhale
    deeply, let your eyelids open…and go for it!
  • You’ll then have structured a stimulus response conditioning between your interview
    performance, and you naturally, continually acting out the context of your inner drama.

DEVELOPING A SUPER CONFIDENT PERSONAL SELF-IMAGE

I suggest you engage this particular strategy twice daily — one half hour before you go to bed, and again upon awakening in the morning.

First, establish the ideal of how you would like to see yourself. Be very specific and detailed here. Let factors such as you being strong, dynamic, capable, effective, smart, influential, etc. color the mental self-image portrait you paint.

Do not limit yourself here; I want you to experience you as the specific person you want to be, and would be if you had the ability to create the future. (This is your outcome for this situation.)

Next, seated or lying comfortably, go through the following Self-Image Confidence Priming routine:

  • Seated or lying comfortably, let your eyelids close down, and inhale a long, deep breath
  • Fire your Force Of Confidence anchor (clench your right fist hard, breathe as the embodiment of confident power, and mentally exclaim your key word)
  • Then, holding your fist clenched, mentally project a detailed scenario of yourself out and
    about in life thinking, feeling and performing exactly as this confident, dynamic
    personality. Speak and interact with others in the manner you know you would. Naturally
    do things in a wholly competent and effective manner — in that specific way which results
    in you feeling really good about yourself and ability — in the manner which naturally
    bolsters your sense of self-respect and dignity

Notice peoples’ involvements with and reactions to you as this personality. Live richly in this cause world where you have duly esteemed yourself, and live with a confident pride and vibrancy in relation to all others.

  • Say what you need to, in the way you need to; gesture in the way you need to; communicate freely and purposefully in the way you need to
  • Make this Force Of Confidence anchor held scenario as clear, realistic and sensory rich
    as you possibly can (i.e., hear, see, feel, sense and experience all of what is going on around
    you while you’re projecting your scenario)
  • After you’ve played this inner drama through, then momentarily savor the impact and
    effect your empowering self-esteem registered
  • Then, again repeat your key word. And next, s-l-o-w-l-y unclench your right fist, inhale
    deeply, let your eyelids open…and then either end, or begin your day!
  • You’ll then have structured a stimulus response conditioning between your perception of self, and you naturally thinking, acting, and feeling as the specific “you” you projected within your
    inner drama.

[Note: If at any time during your day you feel you need or want to strengthen your self-confidence
— let your eyelids close, fire your Force Of Confidence anchor, and hold it for 10 seconds while you firmly project – and hold – your strong, confident self-image in your thoughts. Then, feeling a vital connection with him or her, slowly unclench your right fist, let your eyelids open, inhale, and carry on! (Do Not use this particular strategy while driving, or engaging any other activity demanding your full attention!)]

CONFIDENCE CAN NOW FUEL ALL OF YOU!

Confidence is both a cause and an effect. Through applying the strategies I’ve detailed for you, you are directly dealing with the cause of confidence.

Confidence, like a muscle, can be developed and strengthened to extraordinary degrees. Through this article, I’ve given you building tools you can use to cultivate its foundation of power.

So take what I’ve provided you and engage it with the same passion you do your business, your personal development, your workouts, or any other area where you’ve committed effort to advance and increase. Then you’ll come to know why for some, life just seems to work — all the time!
