    I just started the program 6 days ago and I have lost 7.7 pounds! My doctor highly recommended it so i thought I’d give it a try. I would like to talk to other people who are doing it because i need some encouragement. There are a lot of people who make fun and say that it is impossible for someone to lose 50 pounds in 6 or so months!

    I need to know how to calculate the minimum tensile strength of a cable, which I think may be the same thing as the yield strength. The cable has a weight suspended on it also while it’s being suspended from two poles of equal size. Really, I just need the formula and it doesn’t matter the type of wire or wind resistance.

    I wanted to start a weight loss competition this summer in my family, but I wanted it to be fair. For example its probably easier for my 260 pound brother to lose a pound than my 160 pound mom.

    So whats is the best way to compare? Should it just be percentage of mass? Should fat be considered? Should i buy a body fat analyzer? Because i guess if someone lost 10 pounds of fat and gained 3 pounds of muscle, wouldn’t that be better than someone else who just lost 9 pounds of fat?

    Just curious what people’s thoughts on this are, i want it to be as fair as possible but with accurate measures of comparison.

    I want her to lose weight (for her health of course) but that’s expensive. I want to be supportive but what if she doesn’t stick to it and its a huge waste. She’s tried dieting but thinks this will work better for some reason.

    i have had 2 kids in 2 years and gained quite a bit of weight. i would really like to fit back into my old clothes. any suggestions on what a good excersise program would be that i could do with my 2 small children?
